What’s Been Happening at Anatomy for Kids
So much has happened in the past several months and I can’t wait to fill you in on the latest! For one, our book, I’m A Boy: My Changing Body, is now out and focuses on boys ages eight to ten. It provides more detail about boy anatomy and describes the early signs of puberty that appear in this age group.
Speaking of our books, they’re now on Amazon, and we’re thrilled about it. This move should make it easier to order and review our resources and we hope you’ll check out the new store. Soon, we’ll also be adding a book developed for three- and four-year-olds to teach the basic concepts of anatomy in a simpler format.
I am excited about these books because they help us reach younger children at a time when they are very inquisitive about their bodies.
I also had the opportunity to teach a large audience of parents at the Open Charter Elementary School in LA on April 29 called Having “The Talk” With Your Kids At Any Age. The audience was a diverse group who had lots of great questions and I can’t wait to meet more with parents and educators!
Meanwhile, we continue to add to our activity center and community and would love to have you visit them both! I’ll also be debuting a video series in the fall where I’ll be answering your questions live and on TV (well on YouTube). Stay tuned!
I’m so grateful to be able to help parents teach their kids about anatomy and I’m here if you need me. Please reach out via email at DrM@anatomyforkids.com if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful rest of May!
