How to Teach My Daughter Where Babies Comes From
Little girls are curious about where babies are growing inside the mommy’s tummy. They are also a little confused because they thought food was in mommy’s tummy. Using some anatomy terms, we can easily erase the confusion.
This could be a very helpful illustration to help your daughter learn about the uterus and where a baby grows.

Here are a few key points to teach her.
- The uterus is like a sack that holds the baby. It also makes sure the baby gets plenty to eat.
- The blue color around the baby is water. In the beginning, the baby floats in the water while it is growing.
- The baby is very secure inside the uterus because the outside part of the uterus is a strong muscle that surrounds the baby and protects it.
- As the baby grows, the uterus grows too. That is why mommy’s tummy looks bigger.
Even with this simple description of the uterus, your daughter has really learned a lot.
Remember, this fun time together should only last a few minutes and it would be even better if it included a favorite treat. Let’s make these times memorable and comfortable, something your daughter always looks forward to having with you.
