I am so intrigued by the responses I hear from women when asked about their puberty experience.

It is so unusual to hear a happy story.  Again and again, the conversation quickly turns to the day their period started and how unprepared they were for this intense moment in their life.

I feel that the transitional years of puberty should be CELEBRATED!

A young girl is becoming an adult and her body is preparing her for a wonderful life of sexual pleasure and the opportunity to conceive a baby of her own.  Rather than confusion and uncertainty, these preparatory years could be filled with new and interesting insights about the changes that are coming and excited anticipation of the future.

I realize that what I am suggesting is a big disruption in the current perspective most people share.  But with your help, we can change the dialogue.  I know there are many parents out there who do want to turn these years into celebrations.

Let’s join together and give the puberty story a happy ending!
